What technology does SoftSmile use for treatment planning?

VISION is our proprietary treatment planning software built by orthodontists for orthodontists. It combines advanced AI-driven tooth movement prediction with real-time doctor control, allowing you to adjust, review, and approve cases faster and with greater precision.

How does pricing work?

We offer clear, competitive pricing with flexible options. No hidden fees. Volume discounts are available. Each case includes unlimited refinements, one extra free shipping for replacements, and one free aligner replacement in case your patient loses trays.

How fast is the turnaround time?

Typical turnaround is up to 24 hours from scan upload to case review, followed by 10 business days for manufacturing and standard U.S. shipping times for approved cases.

Can I easily modify treatment plans?

Yes. With VISION, doctors can adjust final tooth positions directly in the portal and submit changes for replanning. Staging adjustments can be requested through comments, with our advanced staging engine recalculating precise results for the next revision. Doctors can review force visualization and use advanced tools that automatically detect and help avoid collisions, supporting safer and more predictable treatment planning.

How does SoftSmile ensure accuracy in treatment plans?

Every plan goes through AI-assisted modeling, but final approval always rests with the doctor. Our system includes tools like a Virtual Articulator to check occlusion, ensuring both function and esthetics are balanced before production.

Does SoftSmile integrate with other digital tools in my practice?

Absolutely. VISION supports all scan files — simply upload an STL at the RX stage. The system also supports CBCT data for complex cases, giving you full digital flexibility.

How does SoftSmile support complex orthodontic cases?

Beyond standard aligner cases, our technology enables advanced biomechanics analysis. Features like custom attachment design, auxiliaries, and precise staging options give orthodontists the flexibility to treat even complex malocclusions confidently.

How are aligners manufactured?

Aligners are produced in the U.S. through our exclusive partner lab, ensuring quality and fast delivery.

What kind of support is available?

You'll have access to live clinical experts, email/chat support, and training resources. We provide case-by-case assistance whenever you need it.

Do you offer refinements?

Yes, refinements are included depending on the complexity of a case.

Is there a minimum case commitment?

No, you can start with as few or as many cases as you like.

Do you provide onboarding or training?

Yes, onboarding is free and includes portal training, clinical guides, and ongoing webinars.
